End of life

We’re improving experiences for Tasmanians with disability at end of life and when bereaved.

Our current projects include:

  • Community of Practice events – share information and experiences and learn from others. Contact us for more information and meeting dates.

  • A pilot project for children with disability - supporting children with complex disability to work through grief and loss.

  • Pilot project for accommodation providers – empowering accommodation service providers to support people with disability at end of life and/or when they are bereaved.

  • Dying to Know day events – community discussions to explore end of life and bereavement topics.

  • Representing the needs and voice of people living with disability in Tasmania (and those who support them) via the Partners in Palliative Care Project, Greater Choice at Home, and Bereavement Care Advisory Group.

  • Seasons for Growth program - evidence-based change, loss and grief education program that draws on the metaphor of the seasons to understand the experience of grief. Contact us for more information, dates and enrolments.
