There is no question that when it comes to support, the NDIS has given people living with disability and their families choice and control.

The trouble is, participants and their loved ones don’t always have the time, skills or experience to compare providers to work out which organisation is the best fit for their family.

So, we decided to bring our service to you via our mini‑documentary project called ‘Firsthand’.

These videos let families actually see what Li-Ve Tasmania is all about without having to get in the car and visit. We’re interviewing our participants; discussing our services with their families; talking with our support workers. We’re filming the people we support living their lives and interacting with their support staff; they’re inviting us into their homes.

When you watch our Firsthand series, you know exactly what Li-Ve Tasmania is really like.

Check out the latest mini-documentary in the Firsthand series, Patrick’s story.
