Paul Byrne life membership
Former Li-Ve Tasmania CEO, Paul Byrne was honoured with a Li-Ve Tasmania life membership.
‘This life membership award recognises Paul’s ongoing relationship with our organisation beyond his 40 years of employment at Li-Ve Tas,’ says Darren.
‘It’s great to be able to do something in person to acknowledge Paul’s contribution to Li-Ve Tas after his planned farewell party had to be cancelled due to COVID-19.’
The Li-Ve Tas community is delighted to welcome Paul as a valued life member.
Sue Leitch’s Chair term ends
The Li-Ve Tasmania community thanked Sue Leitch for her term as Board Chair.
Sue has been a member of the Li-Ve Tasmania Board since 2009. She has led the organisation through a challenging period and has completed the maximum three consecutive terms.
‘Sue has been a tireless champion for growth and improvement at Li-Ve Tasmania through a period of significant change in our organisation and our sector. Her wisdom, experience and commitment as our Board Chair will be missed,’ says CEO, Darren Mathewson.
‘We wish Sue the very best for the future in her role as CEO of the Council of the Ageing – Tasmania (COTA); her new role as a Director of Elder Abuse Awareness Australia; and in her work as an artist.’
