Campaign to support a strong NDIS

The NDIS is vital for Australians living with disability.

Before the NDIS, there weren’t as many services and people had to fight for them.

A strong NDIS lets people with disability live their best lives by building a skilled support team around them. This doesn’t just make things better for people with disability but also for all Australians.

We need to remind the government and others how important the NDIS is, and make sure people know how risky it would be to weaken the scheme. National Disability Services (NDS), our industry peak body, has launched ‘Teamwork works’ – a national campaign to help.

Li-Ve Tasmania will support the Teamwork works campaign in the lead up to the next federal election.

We will share stories about how people use the NDIS to achieve their goals and live the life they want. We’ll also highlight the risks of continued cuts to people’s support plans.

Oakdale Lodge

You may have heard we’re reimagining Oakdale Lodge. Oakdale Lodge is an important part of Li-Ve Tasmania. We have a project team that’s developing a master plan for The Lodge site. The plan will be ready by the middle of next year. The Lodge will stay open until at least mid-2024.
