Here, you can get to know a few of our participants and find out about their activities and accomplishments.
Luci had a great time in Melbourne with lots of shopping, a visit to Queen Victoria Market, yummy food and, of course, the highlight of the footy! Unfortunately, Essendon lost, but that didn’t change Luci’s enjoyment of the game!
You can’t take the 80s and 90s out of a man.
Stuart has always been a loyal fan of Cold Chisel, and Scott was happy to join in (although he reckoned U2 would have been preferable). They headed off to the casino for dinner – and then it was time for the nostalgic head banging.
The weather was perfect, surpassed only by the great music and good company.
Ben Penney enjoyed a hit at the golf driving range. He had lots of laughs.
An extraordinary Li-Ve Tasmania participant, Patrick Eadington places a high priority on being involved and giving back to the community he lives in. His contributions range from newsletter research and production to event management. Patrick has also been an active member of various Boards and advisory groups.
In 2003, Patrick designed a tool called the Disability awareness and resource training program. Patrick has used this program to train students, teachers and community groups to raise community awareness about issues that directly affect the lives of people with disability.
