Apply for a Li-Ve Fuller grant

You can apply for a Li-Ve Fuller grant if you work in the disability field in Tasmania and you want to learn something, new, achieve a personal goal or master an existing skill. You just need to show how this will benefit people with disability, both up front and in the longer term.

Give it a go!

Grant uses

  • Jack supports three young guys who all love rock music and wish they could play it. Jack hasn’t played guitar for years. He’d like to buy a guitar and some sheet music to share with the people he supports, and take a refresher music course so he can help them learn to play.
  • Dawn is a keen gardener who would love to help the people she supports establish a community garden, so they can be more self-sufficient. She’d like to buy some tools, plants and materials, so she can help the people she supports set up a vegie patch and some fruit trees.
  • Leonie has always been afraid of the water but she’s now feeling brave enough to learn to swim. She would like swimming lessons so she can be confident supporting people who’d like to swim, sail, fish and play water sports.

Use your imagination! Just show how your plan will help both you and people living with disability, and we’ll consider it.

What doesn’t the grant fund?

Unfortunately, we can’t fund:

  • conference attendance
  • interstate or overseas travel
  • renting equipment or venues.

Margie couldn’t have lived her life, her way without her support workers. They treated their work as so much more than a job – it was a long-term labour of love.
